Brake Hose - Stainless Steel, Upper 1981-on RT (NOT GS or ST)

These brake lines are made from smooth bore Teflon tubing with a stainless steel overbraid which in turn is covered by clear PVC coating. The hose itself has a minimum burst pressure of 13,000psi. The socket nuts fitted at the ends are also in stainless steel and so the complete line is corrosion-free. Each line is gas pressure tested in the factory to 1,500psi.

International Standards. These brake lines are manufactured to TÜV and DoT standards which include, amongst other things, the requirement for a 10,000psi hose burst test and a 35 hour "whip test" to demonstrate resistance to fatigue.
